\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Open Studio 5000<\/h2>\n<p>First, open Studio 5000.\u00a0 \u00a0This is located under the start menu in the Rockwell Software folder.\u00a0 \u00a0However, if you have a shortcut on your desktop, you can use that as well.\u00a0\u00a0On the splash screen, be sure to click &#8220;New Project&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1701 size-medium lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion1-300x162.png\" alt=\"CreateNew\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion1-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion1.png 651w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/162;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Secondly, select &#8220;Logix&#8221;, then choose the type of processor you have.\u00a0 \u00a0In this example, we have an Emulator.\u00a0 Be sure to name your project, then click &#8220;Next&#8221;.\u00a0 \u00a0If you do not have Emulate 5000 installed, then you will need to use an actual (hardware) processor to see motion on the axis!\u00a0 For our purpose, the default location of the project file will be fine.\u00a0 Emulate 5000 is a package that is typically included in the full version of Studio 5000, and is great for testing projects, and simulating code.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1702 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion2.png\" alt=\"SelectProcessor\" width=\"592\" height=\"467\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion2.png 592w, https:\/\/bryceautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Motion2-300x237.png 300w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 592px;
